Information on how we do business
Our business ethos is to provide as much advice and information upfront free of charge as possible.
We recognise that switching to a renewable heating system is a big decision and a step into an unfamiliar area for most customers. Our aim is to provide the information that the customer needs on the products that are suitable for the property and their lifestyle.
We offer a site visit, showroom appointments, forms for self-surveying, if appropriate. An initial estimate with viable options listed using generic information can be provided all free of charge.
When the customer wants to take the estimate further, the next stage is for full heat calculations to be produced, which ultimately will lead to an MCS compliant system design, for this we charge a design fee which will be refunded if we complete the installation.
Our contracts are based on the RECC approved contract.
We invoice in a deposit and staged payment system which will be confirmed in your contract. For many jobs a 25% deposit is required followed by 35% when the order for large equipment (such as heat pump) is placed and often two further staged payments of 20%. These payment plans are individual to the project and do vary.
We offer a two year workmanship warranty which is insured with either IWA or HIP insurance providers.
We are also members of Norfolk Trusted Trader and adhere to the terms and conditions of the scheme as set by Trading Standards Norfolk Trusted Trader T&C’s
We have been MCS accredited since 2010 firstly through NICEIC and currently through NAPIT.
As we specialise in heat pump installation we must adhere to the Renewable Energy Consumer Code (RECC). This code dictates most of our terms of business read it here:
