Service Engineers

Alan

Alan has worked for R A Brown since 2009, he is a Level 2 Domestic Plumbing & Heating engineer.  Alan is a gas safe qualified engineer and has also completed his training on unvented systems and his Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery BPEC training.  Alan’s interests include cycling and motorbikes, travelling to new places, photography & coffee.  He has managed to combine all these interests on some of his travels to Europe on his motorbike.  Alan’s favourite place is Hong Kong.

Dale

Dale is our Heat Pump Servicing Engineer.  He qualified in 2002 at Norwich City College with Plumbing and Heating NVQ level 2 and has spent most of his career installing renewable heating systems.   Dale says he enjoys meeting customers and helping fix any problems that they may having with their heating system or educating them on how best to use the controls.  Outside of work, Dale enjoys beach walks with family and friends, looking out for fossils, star gazing and cloud spotting.  He also enjoys cold water submersion with breathing techniques and hopes one day to visit Iceland to take a dip in the Blue Lagoon.

Dom

Dom started working at R A Brown in March 2025.  After 23 years service as an aircraft engineer in the RAF, Dom retrained to diversify utilising his previous engineer experience.  He has completed a LCL Level 3 in RACHP Maintenance, he is always keen to learn and likes to be at the forefront of new and advancing technologies.  He enjoys leaving a customer satisfied with the quality of his work and fault finding to resolve and faults or breakdowns quickly.  He feels that one of the great things about working at R A Brown is the high quality manufacturers they use and the levels of knowledge and professionalism.  Outside of work, he enjoys camping holidays, going to the gym, running, travelling and restoring cars and motorbikes.   An interesting fact is that he owns three ferrets.
