R A Brown support Easton College Renewable Hub

R A Brown Heating Services are proud to have been able to support Easton College Norwich in the creation of their Renewable Hub, which is a new onsite training facility R A Brown Heating Services installation at Easton College Training Hub for their students.

Charlie & Callum from R A Brown were involved in installing the air source heat pump system, solar thermal panels and rainwater harvesting.   These were installed as two teaching bays, there is one working model and one for fault finding, allowing the students to work on plumbed in equipment.

Supporting the future generations of heat pump installation engineers is something R A Brown are very passionate about having had an apprenticeship program in place since 2000 when Richard took on his first apprentice.  Since our apprenticeship program started we have fully trained 27 apprentices and currently have 4 apprentices.

We are keen to support Easton College and future generations of apprentices training in heat pumps.  We believe it is important and an urgent need to continue to build the skills of a future workforce of heating engineers who specialise in heat pumps, to enable the UK to achieve carbon reduction and net zero targets.  Here is the full BBC article about Easton College.
