R A Brown Heating Services are finalists in the EDP Business Awards 2014

We are really pleased to be a finalist for the EDP Business Awards 2014 in the Design & Development Category.

The project for the Emmanuel Church Community Buildings, situated in Bungay, focused on proving a Victorian church Hall could become 21st century in its use of renewable technology.  A ground source heat pump was installed along with solar thermal panels for hot water.

Throughout the project, the community was heavily involved helping to raise money to secure its completion.  The project has helped educate others about renewable energies.

The community building has been designed to improve the comfort and usability of an existing building which is now being used by many different community group and activities.

Richard Brown, Managing Director, Louise Howlett, Commercial Director and Graham & Janet Gibbs are attending the award ceremony at the Royal Norfolk Showground Arena on Thursday 6th November.
