R A Brown Environmental Policy Statement

As a responsible company R A Brown Heating Services Ltd (The Company) recognises that the protection of the environment forms part of its business undertakings.

The Company will ensure commitment to:

a) Reduce all materials, substances and energy consumption where reasonably practicable to do so, and replacing those that are hazardous to the environment with less harmful.
b) Re-using materials to maximise their working life, reducing extraction or manufacturing impacts on the environment.
c) Re-cycle materials internally. External licensed companies will also be used to re-cycle materials.
d) Responsibly disposing of wastes, using licensed companies will also be used re-cycle materials.

Products or materials will be stored on the Company’s or other sites e.g. customer sites, so as not to pose an environmental risk from:

• Fugitive escapes of liquids (e.g. oils/hydraulics) or other free flowing substances to ground or controlled waters.
• Other fugitive escapes of items that may have a negative impact on the environment or our neighbours e.g. windblown debris or company vehicles leaking.
• The Company will control noise, odour and light emissions from its activities, so as not to cause a nuisance to other users of the industrial estate or nearby dwellings.

It is the responsibility of all employees to ensure safe guard are taken to protect the environment from our activities. Employees are requested that they report any short comings in environmental protection to management, and employees adhere to company environmental practices/procedures.
