Mr F contacted R A Brown Heating Services as he had problems with his Air Source Heat Pump.

The property he owned was a new build and part of a development of 9 plots, built 2 years ago, which he had purchased recently.

There was a problem with the heat exchanger/compressor which had failed which had caused the heat pump to stop working. The manufacturer warranty on the existing heat pump only had a 1 year warranty and therefore it had expired.

Unfortunately the problem with the existing heat pump was unable to be fixed.  It was replaced with a new NIBE F2040 12kW ASHP.  Mr F was pleased to have the issues resolved and to have a working air source heat pump system with a new 7 year NIBE warranty.  As this was a new installation, Mr F was then eligible to  claim the renewable heat incentive, which was previously unavailable to him for the original installation.
