NIBE – a decade in the UK

NIBE is celebrating its 10th anniversary in the UK.  NIBE has grown from a one person business to a major player in the renewable heating sector, employing 30 people at their headquarters in Chesterfield.  NIBE also operates four training facilities across the UK.

Phil Hurley, managing director at NIBE says “In the last ten years, we have grown from being a small subsidiary of Swedish-based NIBE Climate Solutions Business Area to a well-known, respected UK brand.  Demand for heat pumps in particular has risen considerably in the last decade, with sales up 2000% compared to 2006 and we at NIBE are proud to have been at the forefront of that growth”

“The government has confirmed its ongoing support for the RHI for at least the next five years, pledging a significant £1.15 billion in funding by 2020/21.  This means demand for renewable heating solutions is only set to continue growing for the next decase – and well into the future.  We at NIBE look forward to being at the heart of this”
