Heart Attack to 60 mile cycle ride in a year! What a difference a year makes!
On the evening of June 7th 2018 Richard Brown, Managing Director of R A Brown Heating Services 
collapsed with a cardiac arrest outside The Pier Hotel in Gorleston after leaving Gorleston Sailing Club.
Richard’s life was saved by his sailing club members and the use of a defibrillator which had been placed at The Pier Hotel by local charity Heart 2 Heart Norfolk.
Fast forward a year and both Richard and his wife Louise have been involved in fundraising for Heart 2 Heart and The British Heart Foundation and are also forming the Aylsham group of volunteers for The British Heart Foundation.
Richard’s latest adventure is cycling the Norwich 60 on Sunday 9th June 2019, almost a year to the day 
he suffered his heart attack. Funds raised will be going to The British Heart Foundation and Heart 2 Heart Norfolk.
